Through field operations, customers can access Riparian USVs, operators, mission planning, mapping, and data processing without acquiring and operating a system of their own.
Depending on the project and location, that service may be provided through one of Riparian’s independent service partners or directly by Team Riparian.

For organizations ready to make autonomous capability part of their own operation, Riparian provides complete USV systems configured around the work they need to perform.
That can include the platform, appropriate payload equipment and integration, customer-specific configuration, training, and the continued technical support that stays with every Riparian system after delivery.
The goal is not simply to sell a boat. It is to give the customer a working autonomous system they can confidently put to use within the work they already know.

2. Field Operations
Put the Capability on the Water
Riparian field operations give organizations another way to access autonomous surface vehicle technology: bring the capability into the project rather than bringing a USV into the fleet.
A field operation can include USV deployment, mission planning, operation, data collection, mapping, and the processing and reporting required to turn what is collected on the water into useful project information.
That means the customer does not have to purchase the platform, train an internal operator, or build a new autonomous workflow simply to use the technology for a particular project.
How the operation is delivered depends on the application, location, and type of work involved.
A Service Model Built Around the Right Fit
Not every customer needs to access Riparian’s field capabilities in the same way.
Depending on the location, application, and type of work, field operations may be provided through an established independent service provider or directly by Team Riparian.
The objective is to give customers practical access to the technology through the service model that best fits the work—whether that means local commercial support, a direct Riparian field operation, or volunteer support for a qualifying search-and-recovery mission.
DFW Field Operations Through AUS SonarVision
For lake-management and dredging projects within the DFW metro area, customers can access Riparian’s USV technology through AUS SonarVision, an independent service provider.
AUS combines its established dredging and underwater-services experience with Riparian’s autonomous field capabilities, giving customers access to the technology without requiring them to purchase and operate a USV of their own.
For DFW-area customers who need bathymetric mapping, silt or sediment assessment, or related lake-management and dredging services, AUS provides the local path into Riparians technology.

Direct Riparian Field Operations
Where an independent USV provider is not available, Riparian can provide paid field operations directly for qualifying commercial projects nationwide.
Those projects are considered based on application, location, project requirements, and fit with Riparian’s capabilities.
Customers receive access to the equipment, operators, mission planning, and technical support required to bring autonomous capability directly into the work without first making the investment required to own and operate the system themselves.
3. Volunteer SAR Support
For qualifying nonprofit search-and-recovery organizations, as well as families of the missing, Riparian can also provide direct field support nationwide on a volunteer, case-by-case basis.
These missions bring Riparian’s equipment, operators, and technical capabilities alongside the specialized expertise of search-and-recovery professionals when the circumstances of the case and availability of the team allow.

4. Data Processing
From USV Collection to Usable Information
The field operation does not end when the USV comes off the water.
GAR Data Lab is Riparian’s data-processing and reporting capability, turning data collected through Riparian USV operations into outputs shaped around what the mission needs to accomplish.
The consistency and density of the autonomous collection process are an important part of that workflow. GAR Data Lab therefore processes data collected through Riparian USV operations rather than data produced through unrelated manually operated scans.
Depending on the application, the resulting deliverable may include a side-scan mosaic, bathymetric or sediment mapping, processed sonar imagery, measurements and calculations, or a more extensive technical report.
The objective is not simply to return files.
It is to carry what was collected in the field forward into information the customer can use.

5. Live Demonstrations
See the Technology at Work
For organizations considering whether autonomous surface vehicle technology could improve their existing operations, Riparian offers live demonstrations of its field capabilities.
A demonstration gives prospective customers an opportunity to see a Riparian USV deployed, understand how an autonomous mission is planned and executed, and experience how the technology operates in a real field environment.
